Ules V. Sevedge, 86, son of William Henry Sevedge and Mary {Epps) Sevedge, was born September 12, 1895 in Kingston, Indian Territory. He died April 10, 1982 at the Kabul Nursing Home. He was united in marriage to Delia Williams March 7, 1917 and to this union five children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delia; one daughter, Delia Margaret; three sisters, five brothers, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Sevedge lived many years in the Tyrone community, where he was a farmer by trade. After 14 years of service with the Caterpillar Tractor Company, he retired in 1960 and moved to Houston. He was a member of the Grandview Church, where he served as Sunday School teacher. Following his move to Houston, he united with the First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Edgar of Tyrone and Virgil of St. Charles; two daughters, Mildred Coats of Mtn. Grove and Marie Bradford of St. Ann; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, April 12 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Payton Smyer officiating. Burial was in the Tyrone Cemetery
