Mr. Arthur Glen Keefer, 81, of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 18, 2008, at Maremec Nursing Center in Sullivan, Missouri
He was born on February 23, 1927 in Huntington, West Virginia, the son of the late Alka Otis and Mildred Louise (Niday) Keefer.
Art had been a resident of Mtn. Grove for about 30 years. In that time he worked in the real estate business, owning and managing several rental properties.
Art was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alma in 1973; three brothers, Charles, Otis and Asa; and one sister, Helen Young.
He is survived by two brothers, Willard Keefer of South Point, Ohio, and Carroll Keefer of Chesapeake, Ohio, and one sister, Allene Toney of South Point, Ohio.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cabool, Missouri, with Father Paul Wightman officiating. Interment was in Cabool Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool. [Cabool Enterprise]
