Florence Elaine Freeman, the daughter of the late John Hafford Bowden and Mary Katherine Archer Bowden, was born December 5, 1936, in Ottumwa, Iowa. She entered into eternal rest February 1, 2012, at the age of 75 years.
On March 27, 1955, she was married at Bloomfield, Iowa to Harold Eugene Freeman, who preceded her in death on April 30, 1998.
She was the manager at West Plains Bank & Trust Company's Broadway Branch and since her retirement, she continued to work part time and served as a volunteer at Ozarks Medical Center. Mrs Freeman was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two children, Ted Freeman & wife, Pam, Fort Worth, Texas and Nancy Owens and Husband, Ken, Enterprise, Alabama; three grandchildren, Melissa Haggstrom and husband Erik, Jeremy Freeman and Sean Creech; sister in law, Ruthie Freeman, and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband and two sisters, Betty Clifton and Marilyn Moore precede her in death.
Memorial services were held February 4, 2012 at 2:00pm at St Paul Lutheran Church with minister Elliott Anderson officiating. Organist Judy Johnson, and congregational songs were, "I Love To Tell The Story" and "Amazing Grace".
Honorary Pallbearers were David M Gohn and Don Acklin. Pallbearers were Randy Upton Randy Harris, Gene Jens, Dan Wright, Eric Gibson and Stacy Howell. Interment was in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
