Funeral services for Pauline E. Gann, 87, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2011 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gann died at 8:35 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2011, at her home. She was born June 1, 1924, at South Fork, Missouri, to John Chant Upton and Emma Ellen Spencer Upton. On June 11, 1948, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Dewey Edward Gann, who preceded her in death on August 23, 1984. Mrs. Gann was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church, West Plains, Missouri.
She is survived by five children, Sharon Kay Grisham, husband, Leland, West Plains, Missouri, Carolyn Sue Ratliff, husband, Larry, Grain Valley, Missouri, David Edward Gann, wife, Sara, Jacksonville, Florida, Jerry Luther Gann, Liberty, Missouri, and Emma Marice Robinson, husband, Eddie, Kansas City, Missouri; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Orval A. Upton, West Plains, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Edward Paul Gann, Kansas City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, one son, Johney Gann, two infant granddaughters, Angela Kay and Cindy Marie Grisham, one sister, Lorene Hughes, and four brothers, Grover, Clifford, Johney and Joe Ben "J.B." Upton, precede her in death.
The family will receive their friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. [Ozark Area Network, Nov 18, 2011]
