Funeral services for Patricia Yvonne "Pat" Osborne, 81, West Plains, will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2011, at the First Baptist Church, West Plains, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Osborne died at 5:26 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at her home. She was born August 2, 1930 at California, Missouri to Virgil Franklin and Bessie Fannella Vaughan Yadon. On June 6, 1954, she was married at West Plains, Missouri to George Richard Osborne. Mrs. Osborne received her Bachelor's degree in music education from the Wichita State University and before her retirement, Mrs. Osborne was a music and art teacher. She was a member of the Chapter MC of PEO, Women's Library Club II, West Plains City Board of Pride, Red Hat Club, the Retired Teacher's Association and was the teacher of the painting group. Mrs. Osborne was a volunteer with many different organizations in West Plains. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Plains and was the teacher for the Bethany Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband, George Osborne, of the family home; two daughters, Kristin Gullic, husband, Steven, West Plains, Missouri and Kelli Osborne-Pyle, husband Jeffrey, Riverside, California; four grandchildren, Vaughan Adreann Ward, Anderson John "AJ" Ward, wife, Christina, Jeffrey Osborne Pyle and Rachel Nicole Pyle; one sister, Kay Garrett, husband R. Jack; one niece, Karen Russell; and three nephews, Russell Cole, Jacob Garrett and Nathan Garrett.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon Bible Society or the American Cancer Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for George Richard Osborne, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2011, at the First Baptist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Osborne died at 6:30 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011, at Ozarks Medical Center. He was born May 13, 1928, at Wichita, Kansas, to Russell and Elva Ailene "Billie" VanPelt Osborne. On June 6, 1954, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Patricia Yvonne "Pat" Yadon, who preceded him in death on September 14, 2011. Mr. Osborne was a history teacher and counselor at West Plains High School. He had been a teacher at MSU. He also had been a supervisor and counselor for the head start program at Ozark Action. He held degrees in Psychology, History and Education from Wichita State University. He held a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Colorado, at Boulder. Mr. Osborn was active in The Gideon Bible Society, was a member of the Mason's local lodge and the Retired Teacher's Association, having been a past president. Mr. Osborne was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, West Plains, Missouri, where he had been a Sunday School Secretary and Deacon.
He is survived by two children, Kristin Gullic, husband, Stephen, West Plains, Missouri and Kelli Osborne-Pyle, husband, Jeffrey, Riverside, California; four grandchildren, Vaughan Adreann Ward, Anderson John "AJ" Ward, wife, Christina, Jeffrey Osborne Pyle and Rachel Nicole Pyle; sister-in-law, Kay Garrett, husband R. Jack, West Plains, Missouri; one niece, Karen Russell; and three nephews, Russell Cole, Jacob Garrett and Nathan Garrett.
His parents and wife, precede him in death.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or the Gideon Bible Society, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
