Funeral services for Nell I. Tooley, 92, West Plains, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tooley died 3 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, in West Vue Nursing Center. She was born May 25, 1916, in Ann, Mo., to Isaac Oliver and Bertha Vanevery Parker.
She received her education at the School of the Ozarks and on March 7, 1935, was married at Mtn. Grove, Mo., to Lilbern Claude Tooley, who preceded her in death on March 18, 1995.
Mrs. Tooley was co-owner and operator of the Ford Tractor dealership in West Plains and helped her husband in many land development projects in the West Plains area. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening and cooking. She especially enjoyed trying out new recipes. Mrs. Tooley loved her family dearly. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Kerley, West Plains; three grandsons, Brent Kerley, wife, Lesa, LaGrange, Ga., Stace Kerley, wife, Christina, and daughter, Lauren, West Plains, and Shannon Kerley, Caulfield, Mo.; one brother, Loyd Parker, wife, Wilma, state of California; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents, husband, and five brothers and sisters precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Miracle Network and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
