Ernest Simhiser died Sunday night at his home on Highway 17, one-fourth mile southeast of Eugene, being 62 years of age at the time of his death. Mr. Simhiser was born and raised near Eugene and spent most of his life in that community.
He was married March 12, 1905, to Miss Janie Williams, who survives him. There are four children left to mourn his death, Delmer, Dean, Dora and Lorraine.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Eugene Christian Church by a Methodist minister, and burial was in the Eugene Cemetery.
