Funeral service for Drexil Ray Grace, 72, Koshkonong, Mo will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the Carter Chapel, West Plains, MO with the Rev. David Combs officiating.
Mr. Grace died yesterday at 4 p.m. at his home. He was born Jan. 26, 1901 in Taylor County, Iowa, the son of the late Clark J. and Eva Ray Grace. He was married Dec. 21, 1921 at Worth County, Mo. to Grace Childers. Mr. Grace was of the Methodist faith and had lived in this area for over 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. D.R. Grace, Koshkonong, MO, one son Clark C. Grace, Koshkonong, MO, his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marvell Grace, Koshkonong, MO, one brother, Elgin Grace, Bedford, Iowa and one granddaughter, Deborah Lou Grace, Koshkonong, MO.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home, West Plains
Graveside services for Grace Grace, 96, Ash Flat, Arkansas, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Dennis Johnston officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of West Plains, MO.
Mrs. Grace died at 6:55 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000 at Beverly Healthcare in West Plains, Mo. She was born Aug. 20, 1903, in Worth County, MO the daughter of John Calvin and Lydia Weese Childers. On Dec. 21, 1921 she was married in Worth County to Drexil Ray Grace. Mrs. Grace was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include one granddaughter, Debbie Sloan and husband Rex of Mountain Grove, Mo, daughter-in-law Lou Mikle, Ash Flat, Arkansas, three step grandsons, Nelson Armstead and wife Julie, Bob Estes and wife Penny and Robert Dale Estes all of Ash Flat, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son Clark C. Grace, two brothers, Charlie Childers and Ray Childers.
