Funeral service for Nina Sue Riggs, 29, was held Sunday afternoon at the German Funeral Home in Steele with the Rev. James F. McCrary officiating. Mrs. Riggs was a passenger in a car involved in a car-truck collision south of town on U.S. 61 early Friday night, which also claimed the life of Clarence Reeves of Denton.
She leaves her husband, Coy Riggs, of Henderson, Tenn., a step-son, Wesley Riggs of Memphis; and a half-sister, Shirley Riggs, of Steele, according to information supplied by the local funeral home. There were no relatives here to supply more detailed information.
Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German Funeral Home, 122 East Main in charge of arrangements.
