PARKS—In this city Thursday morning, at 9 o'clock, Geo. W. Parks, aged 57 years. Mr. Parks had been a resident of Kirksville for many years. He lost a leg at the battle of Lone Jack, during the rebellion. Recently the stump of the limb became inflamed and had to be lanced in a number of places. This exhausted him very much. A week ago he was attacked with flux, and in his exhausted condition was unable to combat the disease.
