Memoriam

"The solemn notes that betoken the dissolution of this earthly tabernacle have again alarmed our outer door," and another spirit has been summoned to the land where our fathers have gone before us; unto the grave this Lodge has consigned the body of our deceased associate and brother, Theron A. Folsum; "earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust," there to remain until the "resurrection morn," Peace be to his ashes:

Resolved, That so great a loss to this Lodge and the fraternity at large as the death of Bro. T.A. Folsom deserves and should receive, of the members of this Lodge, a benefiting and appropriate recognition.

Resolved, That we mourn and deeply sympathize with his immediate friends and relatives, in this their great bereavement and irreparable loss of one so firm, so devoted to the interests, the welfare and the honor of his family and friends.

Resolved, That as a testimony of respect in the memory of our departed brother the officers and members of this Lodge wear the paual (?) badges of mourning for the space of thirty days.

Resolved, That this Lodge, as a further mark of respect to the memory of the deceased brother, be draped in mourning for the space of sixty days.

Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be transmitted to the family of the deceased, with the seal of the Lodge attached thereto, by the Sec'y.

The above resolutions were unanimously adopted by Tuscumbia Lodge 437 AF&AM.
H.C. Topp, Sec'y
