Kristi Lynn Colvin, 18, daughter of Gary Colvin and Kay Burdette Stalder, was born Feb. 16, 1988, at Osage Beach. She died July 13, 2006, at Pleasant Hope, as the result of injuries from a car accident.
She had recently completed her GED and was looking forward to finding a job and starting a new direction for her life.
She loved swimming, the outdoors and visiting with her friends. She was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and painting.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Wilma Colvin.
Surviving are her father and his girlfriend, Krista Jones, of Springfield; her mother and stepfather, Kay and David Stalder of Houston; one brother, Donnie Colvin of Richland; sister, Kimberley McCallister of Missouri; grandmother, Bonnie Burdette; and her special cats, Fred and Cooter Brown.
Graveside services were July 17 at the Cabool Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Hamilton officiating under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
