Mark Bennett Hellwig, 47, Washington, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2004, in Washington. Mr. Hellwig was born Feb. 6, 1957, in Lafayette, Ind., the son of John F. Hellwig and his wife Bonnie, nee Bennett. He was united in marriage May 25, 1979, to Dena Ziemelis in Indianapolis, Ind. Mr. Hellwig attended North Central High School and IUPUI University in Indianapolis, Ind.
He worked as a sales representative for the Hammond Company. Mr. Hellwig was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Dena Hellwig, Washington; one son, Patrick Hellwig; one daughter, Holly Hellwig, both of Washington; one brother, Neil Hellwig, Orlando, Fla.; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington.
Interment was in the Wildey I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Washington.
