Donna Lee Wood was born July 10, 1947 in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Margaret Elaine (Keeling) Hayes. She departed this life on October 8, 2011 at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, Missouri at the age of 64.
Donna was united in marriage to Earl Wood on July 18, 1966 in Willow Springs, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Teresa and Carrie; two brothers-in-law, Leon Wood and Glen Wood; her mother and father-in-law, Richard and Ruth Wood; one nephew, Jason Hayes; and one niece, Terri Wood.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherri Caldwell and husband, John, of Birch Tree; siblings, Shirley Wood, Ron Hayes and wife, Linda, Debbie Hayes, James Hayes and wife, Eunice, and Junior Hayes all of West Plains, Billy Hayes and wife, Karen, and Terry Hayes and wife, Laura, all of Pomona; and two grandchildren, Dylan and Kelsey Caldwell.
Donna was employed by Angelica Uniform Company for many years before becoming a full-time caretaker for her parents.
Donna enjoyed making crafts with her mother and going to yard sales with her sisters. She loved her family very much. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
