Graveside services for George Irvin Yarbrough, 73, West Plains, will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the Union Grove Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Yarbrough died 9:56 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in St. John's Regional Medical Center, Springfield, MO. He was born May 20, 1937, at Union Grove, MO, to Wilber T. and Lucy Woods Yarbrough. In 1998, he was married at Ash Flat, AR, to Carline Smith. Before his retirement, Mr. Yarbrough was a truck driver. He was a member of the Union Crossroad Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carline Yarbrough, of the family home; five children, Charles Yarbrough, wife, Robin, Omaha, NE; Velma Dial, El Dorado, KS, Susan Helm, husband Harvelle, West Plains, Janet Redeker, West Plains, and Curtis Redeker, wife, Cori, Cherokee Village, AR; numerous grandchildren; one brother, John Yarbrough, wife, Edna, Noel, MO; one sister, Betty Romans, Moline KS; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, two sisters and one brother precede him in death.
He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed greatly.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family and left at Robetson-Drago Funeral Home.
