Funeral services for Anna Loree (Tilson) Morris, 81, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Morris died 4:45 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born May 28, 1932 in Howell County, Missouri to Herbert Collins and Opal Fox Collins. She graduated from the Dora High School with the Class of 1950 and on March 7, 1953, was married at Wichita, Kansas to J B Tilson who preceded her in death on May 17, 1990. On January 31, 1996, she was married at Cotter, Arkansas to Robert Morris. Mrs. Morris enjoyed playing the mandolin and guitar and sang as a member of the Gospel Chords; she enjoyed quilting and fishing and often kept in touch with her family and friends by means of a text message. Anna was a Christian and a member of the Calvary General Baptist Church of West Plains, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Morris, of the family home; three sons, Jay Tilson, wife, VeAnn, Union, Missouri; Timothy Tilson, wife, Donna, West Plains, Missouri and Jeffrey Tilson, wife, Sherri, West Plains, Missouri; three daughters, LaRee Stevens, husband, Gary, West Plains, Missouri, Sherry Robinson, husband, Bruce, West Plains, Missouri; and Lynda Coy, husband, Vernon, Tecumseh, Missouri; two step-daughters, Bobbi McMahon, husband, Pat, Willow Springs, Missouri and Cindy Harper, husband, Rodney, West Plains, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Lynn Weber, Sande Rachbaumer, Roni Weaver, Marty Witt, Kylea Phipps, Kerri Pruiett, Shon Brubaker, Jon Brubaker, Casey Gale, Lacey Lee, Jenni Tilson, Jesse Tilson, Amber Squires, Leslie Harper and Jerry Robert Harper; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma Lea Rowlett, Hockley, Texas; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Her parental grandparents, Shelt and Anviline Collins, maternal grandparents, Pierce and Jenny Fox, parents, first husband, and two brothers, Marvin and Denzel Collins, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 24th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Union Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Grove Cemetery and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
