Larry B. Clark, age 80, of Springfield, MO, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 in his home. He was born April 16, 1935, in Sapulpa, OK, to Augustus and Jewell (MacBride) Clark. Larry was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed as Quality Control with McBee Binding Company until his retirement. He was united in marriage to Ginger Hoskins on October 2, 2003 in Opp, Alabama. He attended Oak Grove Assembly of God. His passion was serving others, through delivering meals for Southside Senior Center, serving as a Reading Buddy in the Springfield School System, or giving a bag of food to the hungry. Larry and Ginger would go to Walmart during Christmas to look for deserving families to bless with a cash gift. Larry was a huge baseball fan, he even had the opportunity to try out for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was invited back to another try out until they found out he was still in high school.
He was preceded in death by parents, Augustus Bartlett and Jewell Clark and one brother Harry Clark. He is survived by his loving wife, Ginger Hoskins-Clark; one daughter Sharmyn Clark, son, Michael Clark and wife Kaye; three granddaughters, Macie Clark, Raena Clark, and Shaina Michnal and husband Joe; one great grandson, Harper Cobb; two step-sons, Brian Hoskins and wife Anna, and Greg Hoskins; and one step-grandson, Evan Hoskins.
Burial in Howell County Memorial Park Cemetery, Pamona, MO.
