Jimmy E. Whitehead, 36, of Steele, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at the Great River Hospital in Blytheville, Ark.
Born Sept. 20, 1974 in Barron Springs, Mich., he is the son of Jim and Becky Lee Whitehead.
He was a graduate at the South Pemiscot Schools and worked with his dad in Whitehead Construction.
Jimmy was united in marriage to Lana Maxwell.
Mr. Whitehead leaves his father and mother, Jim and Becky Whitehead, of Steele; His wife, Lana Whitehead, of the home; Two sons: Corey and Cody; One brother, Steven Whitehead; One aunt, Jenny Duncan, of Lexington, Tenn.; One Uncle J.D. Mathis, of Como, Miss.; One niece, Brittany Whitehead, of Steele; and A host of family and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Whitehead were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday Dec. 5, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Jeremy Damesworth officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
Pallbearers were Quency Allen, Kevin Allen, Allen Boone, Bobby Boyd, Bill Miller and Rick Hastings.
