Mr. Danny Ray Fisher passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at his residence in Caruthersville at the age of 50 years, 7 months and 5 days. Danny was born June 17, 1962 in St. Louis, Mo. to Arrie Fisher and Mildred Ledbetter Fisher.
Danny worked for the Bush Canning Facility in Blytheville,
Ark. for a number of years before retiring due to health reasons. He was a lifetime resident of the Bootheel area and attended school in the Pemiscot County School District.
Danny is survived by his sisters, Donna Barham and her fiancee Gerald Scott, Jeanne Fisher Ferrell and her husband Kenny, Teresa Connell and her husband Richard, Patricia Dearen and her husband Douglas and a brother, Terry Barnham and Danny's girlfriend Betty Pierce. Four
stepsisters, Wanda Barnham, Brenda Self, Judy Barnham and Becky Barnham, three step brothers, Dewayne Barnham, Ed Barnham and Thomas Barnham as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Danny in death were his parents, Arrie and Mildred Fisher and two sisters, Carolyn Brown and Susie Hankins.
Pallbearers for Danny were Donna Grissom, Tammy Whisnant, Kenneth Hounihan, Gerald Scott, Richard Connell and Willihan.
Visitation for Mr. Fisher was Friday, January 25 in the Chapel at H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville. Funeral services were held immediately following the visitation with Pastor Kenny Lee officating. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
