Raymond Eugene Burkhead, 66, of Mountain Home, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at Hohenwald, Tenn.

Born Aug. 6, 1936, in Atkins, Ark., son of the late Herbert and Audrey Cross Burkhead, he worked for Steel Industry and was a member of the Shriners.

Survivors include one daughter, Gail Canada, of Chicago, Ill.; one son, David Burkhead and wife, Cindy, of Chicago; one sister, Pat Reeves, of Nashville, Tenn.; three brothers, Kenneth and Bud Burkhead, both of Hohenwald and Lawrence Burkhead, of Tennessee; two granddaughters, Sarah and Heather Canada, both of Chicago and two grandsons, Jared Barrow and David Burkhead, both of Chicago.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Andrews, Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
