Obituary
On Friday, Jan. 4, 1907, there were two funerals conducted by Kirksville Lodge, No. 105, A.F. & A.M. The first, that of Lee D. Hickman, of Princeton, Ill. Mr. Hickman was born July 20, 1875, in Macon county, Mo., and was a graduate of the American School of osteopathy. He became a Mason, June 6, 1901, of Princeton Lodge, No. 587, Princeton, Illinois. After graduating in Osteopathy, he located in Princeton, Ill., for the practice of his profession, and was meeting with marked success at the time he took sick in June 1906. He died Jan. 2, 1907, at his home in Princeton. His parents, Eason S. Hickman and wife, have long been residents of Kirksville, Mo. The remains were brought to Kirksville Jan. 4, accompanied by his wife, Dale Craig, a nephew, and H.W. Hanson, Worshipful Master of Princeton Lodge, No. 587. The funeral services were held at the home of his parents, 714 East McPherson street, conducted by Rev. J.W. Davis and Rev. D.A. Wickizer, after which Kirksville Lodge No. 105, took charge of the remains and conducted them to the cemetery, where he was laid to rest.
