Funeral services for Hulda Anthony, 67, of Kirksville, will be held Saturday afternoon (October 20, 1979) at 1:30 in the chapel of the Davis Funeral Home. The Rev. Archie Cooper will conduct the services. Burial will be in Forest Llewellyn cemetery.

Mrs. Anthony died Thursday morning in Community Nursing Home No. 3.

The daughter of Thomas and Rosellen Peyton Stevens, she was born in Adair county on September 5, 1912. On July 2, 1930 she was married to Jack Anthony who preceded her in death in 1949. Also preceding her in death were 11 brothers and sisters. Surviving are one son, Lawrence Anthony of 1217 North Main; one daughter, Dorothy P. Rockley of Kansas City; three sisters, Helen Stevens of Kansas City, Rosemary Roberts of Lincoln, Nebraska and Ruby Wallace of Kirksville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Anthony was a life-long resident of Adair County.

Bearers will be her grandsons: Burl Stevens, Gary Rockley, Gale Rockley, Larry Anthony, Mark Rockley and Leland Edmonds.
