Death of William Novinger

William Novinger, aged 81 years, died at his home in this City, of Brights's disease last Monday morning. He had been a sufferer for many weeks.

Mr. Novinger came to Adair County nearly sixty years ago and has lived here continuously ever since. He has been a man who has done much for his country. He served in the Union Army and has always been a good citizen, defending everything for the right.

Mr Novinger was married twice, leaving on daughter, Mrs. Henry Floyd; one daughter, Mrs. J. J. Ward, who has passed to the beyond three or four years ago. His second wife and one son, Chester, thirteen years old, together with Mrs. Floyd, and other relatives survive him.

Deceased had for many years been very active in Masonic circles, and was a member of Adair Lodge No. 366, A. F. & A. Masons; Cauldwell Chapter No. 53, R. A. M. Ely' Commandery No. 22, Knights Templar; also of the Eastern Star.

The funeral was conducted from the home yesterday afternoon by Rev. Anthony F. Zeigel, Interment was in Llewlyn Cemetery.
