On May 12, 1943, she was married to Merle E. Marshall, who preceded her in death after thirty-two wonderful years together. On October 3, 1981, she was married to Harold Hartzmann, who preceded her in death December 3, 1991. Mrs. Hartzmann was a homemaker and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her life. She loved to keep a clean home and have meals ready for her family, as young children and as they grew up, jumping up to see that everyone was taken care of at every little whim. The family all got to visit around the table. She loved working in her flowers and yard. Mrs. Hartzmann loved the Lord so very much and knew he was always beside her. She attended Victory Family Worship Center before she became a resident at West Vue Nursing Center. While at West Vue, she was always thankful for the caregivers and felt they treated her as family. She made a lot of friends and played games until Alzheimer’s took over her mind completely, as it is a terrible disease, but the Lord and her are having a wonderful time now. She is healed and doing well.

W. Stapleton, Lonzo Harring and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from her first marriage, precede her in death.
The family will receive their friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
