Jean Riddick Golden, 73, of Steele, Mo., died Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at her home.
Born Thursday, July 4, 1929 in Cooter, Mo., she was the daughter of the late John Z. Riddick and Carrie McClure Riddick. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
Mrs. Golden leaves her husband, Mac Golden, of Steele; two sons: Richard E. Golden of Caruthersville, and Steve Golden and his wife Renee of Steele; two daughters: Deborah K. Burton and her husband David of Steele, and Carol D. Golden of Blytheville, Ark.; one brother, Douglas Riddick, of Portageville, Mo.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Golden were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2002 at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Mr. Mundy officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Brett Burton, Jeremy Burton, Adam Burton, Aaron Burton, Rex Golden, Mac Golden, and B. J. Riddick.
