Kurt Thomas Potts, 29, of Hayti, died April 27, 2010. He was born Nov. 22, 1980 in Hayti to Tommy and Pat Potts.
He was a graduate of Hayti High School, graduating with the class of 1999. He played football and basketball for the Hayti Indians. He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Giants.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Betty Lou Anderson; grandparents, Jack and Jean Fortner.
He leaves the following to cherish his memory; parents, Tommy and Pat Potts of Hayti; brothers, Kevin Potts and his wife April of Hayti and Kristopher Potts and his wife Christina of Finley, TN; sister, Kimberly Renee Mills and her husband Keith of Fenton, MO; nieces, Taylor Potts and Hannah McGinnis; nephew, Christian McGinnis; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, April 29, 2010 in the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti with Rev. Roger Cary officiating. Cremation followed the services and burial will be held at a later date at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, MO.
