Funeral services for Harmon Gibson were conducted Friday, March 26, 1976 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the German-Aumon Funeral Home. Mr. Jim Franks officiated.

Graveside services were conducted by the Steele Oddfellows Lodge.

Mr. Gibson was born September 20, 1913, in Steele and died March 24, 1976, at Pemiscot Memorial Medical Center at Hayti.

He leaves his widow, Dorothy Gibson; two daughters, Betty Sue Patillo, Caruthersville, and Carolyn Benson, Memphis; one son: Charles J. Cook, Cahokia, Ill.; one brother, Green Gibson, Caruthersville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Interment was in Sam F. Hamra Memorial Gardens, Mt. Zion Cemetery, Steele, with German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Adams Gibson, 78, died Saturday, June 30, 1990, at the Caruthersville Nursing Center in Caruthersville, Mo. Daughter of the late Charles V. Adams and Ella Smart Adams, she was born January 17, 1912 in Arkansas.

A member of the Church of Christ, she was a homemaker.

July 1, 1935 in Caruthersville she married Harmon F. Gibson, who preceded her in death. Four sisters also preceded her in death.

She leaves one son, Charles J. Cook of Nashville, Ill.; two daughters: Betty Sue Pattillo and Carolyn Benson, both of Caruthersville; A sister, Pauline Pfeffer of Parma, Mo; six grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Mr. Mark Raulerson, Monday, July 2, 1990, at 11:00 a.m. at Bradshaw German-Aumon Chapel in Steele, Mo. Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with arrangements by Bradshaw Germnan-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele.

Pallbearers were Jessie Edwards, Joseph Pattillo, Anthony Mayville, and David Whitfield.
