Alvin Cullon Hall, Jr., was born March 17, 1903, in Steele and died here November 9, 1984. He was 81.
He was the son of the late Alvin Cullon Hall and the late Victoria Woodard Hall King. He was married to Carrie Ryan April 22, 1922. She preceded him in death. On July 12, 1969 he was married to Miranda Mooney Brinkley.
Services were held Sunday, November 11, 1984 at German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Charles Northcutt conducting the service.
Mr. Hall leaves his wife; a son, Kenneth E. Hall, of Woodriver, Ill., a daughter, Bonita Louise Lee, of Piedmont; three step-daughters, Gladys Arnold, of Dyersburg, Tenn., Louise Sandage of Poplar Bluff, and Patricia Vanderpool, of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Joe King of Steele; two sisters, Flossie Bomar of Conway, Ark. and Naomi Tutor, of Byhalia, Miss.; and ten grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and 12 step great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Richard Hall, Larry Hall, Charles Wheatley, Gary Nagel, Kevin Dvorak, and Larkin Lee.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
