Charles Herbert Ketchum, 75, of Steele, died Sept. 17, 1994, at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis. Born July 10, 1919 in Steele, he was the son of Charels F. and Lennie Burton Ketchum. He was a World War II veteran, a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of the Steele Board of Aldermen.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jeanne Wiers Ketchum of Steele; two sons, Bob Ketchum of Hornersville and Dick Ketchum of Memphis; a daughter, Cindy Ray, of Blytheville;
A brother, Ralph Ketchum of Steele; a sister, Hollis Wimberley of Heber Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren, two step-granddaughters and one great-step-granddaughter.
Services were Sept. 19, at John W. German Funeral Home chapel in Steele, Barry Sellers officiating.
Pallbearers were Barry and Kevin Ray, Lee Wimberley, Joshua Ketchum, Wayne Southern and David Daniel.
