William Clifford Blagg, 89, died Wednesday, July 11, 1990, at the Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born August 11, 1900 in Dyer County, Tenn., Mr. Blagg was a veteran of World War I and engaged in farming.
He leaves his wife, Vada Blagg, of Steele, Mo.; six daughters; Irene Syrotynski of New York; Virginia Bockerich of Mountain Home, Joye Blagg of Steele, Dorothy Christian of Mountain Home, and Dianne Holt and Sheila Pruitt, both of Steele; two sons: Floyd Blagg of Chicago, Ill., and George Blagg of Nevada, Mo.; one step-son, Wayne Stevens of Panama City, Fla.; one sister, Mae Lewis, of Marked Tree, Ark.; two half-sisters; Shirley Counce and Ruby Harden, both of Marked Tree; one brother, W.C. Blagg, of Cooter, Mo.; two half-brothers: Harve Blagg of Marked Tree and James Blagg of Greenville, Ind.; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one step-grandson, Lonnie Cobb; one step-granddaughter, Penny Cobb; and one step-great-granddaughter, Amanda Cobb, of Coloma, Mich.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 13, 1990 at graveside in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Steele, by Rev. Charles Faught, with arrangements by Bradshaw German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele.
Pallbearers were Bobby Martin, Kenneth Darnell, Cecil Barnes, Frank Jumper, Bruce VanDyke, and Raymond McDaniel.
