Wanda Louise Beaver, daughter of the late Claude C. Parks and Dessie Hillyer Brasher, was born June 24, 1942, in Marston, Mo., and departed this life Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 15 days.

On April 20, 1961, in Rives, Mo., she married Thomas William Beaver.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Beaver, of Kennett; one son, Jessie Beaver and wife, Tracey, of Kennett; five daughters, Penny Beaver of Kennett, Tammy Akers and husband, Greg, of Kennett, Tina Case and husband, Brad, of Holcomb, Mo., Carolyn Caraway and husband, Travis, of Kennett and Janet Hobbs and husband, Arlen, of Kennett; mother-in-law, Lela Mae Beaver, of Kennett; one brother, J.R. Parks, of Bernie, Mo.; four sisters, Ethel Wheat, of Rector, Ark., Martha Hatcher, of Kennett, Mary Mitchell, of Corning, Ark., and Carrie Chumbley, of Jonesboro, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Wayne Parks; one sister, Ella Josephine Clifton, and one granddaughter, Mallory Mae Hobbs.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Tuesday, March 13, at The Bridge Church in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 14, at The Bridge Church in Kennett with Pastor Waylon Tom officiating.

Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery at Caruth, Mo.

Pallbearers will be Justin Beaver, Brandon Smith, Matthew Estes, Mitchell Estes, Jacob Caraway and Garrett Caraway.

Honorary pallbearers will be Arlen Hobbs, Greg Akers, Brad Case, Travis Caraway and Buck Greenfield.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett in charge of the arrangements.
