Rex M. Fitzpatrick Jr., 45, of Indianapolis, IN, and formerly of New London, MO, passed away,Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

A Memorial Service will be at 5:30 PM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Farron Fitzpatrick and Jamie Page will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4:30 PM until the time of services. Thursday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Private family burial will be at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Frankford, MO.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was born December 8, 1968, in Louisiana, MO to Rex M. Fitzpatrick, Sr. and Carolyn Dotson Fitzpatrick Dietle.

Survivors include his Mother, Carolyn Dietle (Richard) of New London, MO, 1 Daughter, Riley Fitzpatrick of Indianapolis, IN, 5 Brothers, Curt Fitzpatrick of Jefferson, City, MO, Farron Fitzpatrick (Rebecca) of Columbia, MO, John Dietle (Kristen) of Center, MO, Jeff Dietle (August) of New London, MO, Chris Dietle of New London, MO and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends.

He is preceded in death by his father and 1 brother; Richard Scott Dietle.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a graduate of Mark Twain High School, Class of 1987 and later attended Moberly Area Community College. Rex was the owner of Signature Remodeling and Repair in Indianapolis, IN. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing with his daughter. Rex loved all sports and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Rex was baptized at Salt River Christian Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Education Fund for Riley Fitzpatrick or the Donor's Choice in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
