Sam A. Crawford, 94, one of the oldest residents of south Pemiscot County, passed away at the home of his son, Charles Crawford, at 11 o'clock Thursday night. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.M. Duncan at the home of Charles Crawford at two o'clock Friday afternoon. Interment in Mount Zion Cemetery. Deceased is survived by four sons: Charles Crawford, Andrew Crawford, Frank and John Crawford of Steele, and two daughters, Mrs. Rube Sales of Bragg city, and Mrs. Mack Woodard of St. Louis.
