Earnest Lloyd Willard, 85, of West Plains, Mo., were held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Willard died 1:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at Brooke Haven HealthCare. He was born May 19, 1925, in Rover, Mo., to Archie Clark and Maggie Martha Andrews Willard. He was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy Sea Bees during World War II. Mr. Willard had been employed in marketing and sales for 27 years with Leigh Building Products, retiring in 1988. He also had represented the Float Away Home Products and MFSS Inc. In years past, Mr. Willard had been a member of the VFW and Moose Club and was still a member of the Elks and Am Vets.
He is survived by four children, Gary Willard and wife Jan, Ronald Willard Sr. and wife Joyce, Steve Willard and wife Christine, and Cynthia Martinelli and husband Mark; 13 grandchildren, Tina, Tammy, Jenny, Angela, Scott Lloyd, Kimberly, Dawn, Ronald Jr., Amanda, Steven, Brandon, Scout, and Max; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Amy Dickinson; the mother of his children, Betty Willard, and several nieces and nephews. His parents and one brother, Archie Willard Jr., precede him in death Burial was at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Am Vets and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
