Jerry Gene Arnold, 69, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died October 13, at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born February 20, 1946 at home in Jacket, Missouri, to Arthur Ray Arnold and Leeo Kathryn Pendergraft Arnold.
He was a long and short haul asphalt truck driver for many years, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving eighteen wheelers, working on cars, going to garage sales, and being with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cathy Arnold, his life- long companion, friend and love of thirty-five years Ruth Hudson; six brothers, Bob Arnold, JD Arnold, Russell Arnold, RD Arnold, Frank Arnold, and George Hammers; one sister Virginia Banks; and one great-granddaughter Katrena.
Survivors are three sons, Jeffrey Arnold, David Hudson, and Jerry Hudson all of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a step-son Tim Hudson of Pea Ridge; two daughters, Charlena Arnold and Christina Hudson both of Blackwell; one brother, Gerold Hammers of Bentonville; four sisters, Valentina Day of Pea Ridge, Rayetta DeWitt of Bentonville, Shirley Barrett of Centerton, and Mary Louder of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kyla, Michael, Damon and Kadin all of Blackwell; thirteen step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and his caregiver Ruthie Anthrim.
