Graveside services for Ralph Earl Gringles, 75, of West Plains, were held on July 12, 2006, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.Mr. Gingles died at 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, in National Health Care. He was born March 11, 1931, in Kansas City, Mo., to Charles and Mildred Poe Gingles. On Dec. 25, 1952, he was married at Salem, Ark., to Barbara Huggins. Mr. Gingles was a veteran, having served more than 20 years with the U.S. Coast Guard. He was of the Baptist faith.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gingles, of the family home; two children, Robin Lohner and her husband, Wynn, of Baker City, Ore., and Timothy Gingles and his wife, Frances, of Raymore, Mo.; and four grandchildren, Kyle Lohner, Jackie Lee Lohner, Alex Gingles and Matthew Gingles. His parents and one son, Ralph Earl Gingles II, precede him in death.
