Graveside services for Martha Cecelia Kempf, 93, Sarasota, Florida and formerly of West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kempf died peacefully at 4:10 a.m., Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born April 8, 1919 at Altoona, Pennsylvania to William and Ulita Swartzle Peiffer. On December 8, 1944, she was married at Washington, DC to William Henry Kempf who preceded her in death on October 24, 1999. William and Martha lived off of BB Highway in West Plains from 1978 until William's death in 1999. They were member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed their many friends and acquaintances during their retirement years in West Plains.
Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and servant of the Lord. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
