D.C. Hollingsworth, aged 45, died Monday at his home at five a.m. He was taken ill with a congestive chill Sunday, his death coming suddenly.

He has lived in Cooter about nine years and was a very well known citizen, with a host of friends, who will regret to hear of his death.

Besides a number of friends he leaves his wife, five children, Leater, Mattie, Leona, Ruby and Charles. He also leaves a half sister and four half brothers.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Cooter Tuesday afternoon and interment was made in the Upper Cooter Cemetery with the German Undertaking Company in charge.

Funeral services for Ada M. Hollingsworth of Cooter were conducted November 14, 1974 at Holly Grove Baptist Church at Cooter. The Rev. Joe Smith officiated.

Mrs. Hollingsworth died November 12, 1974 at Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. She was the widow of Dorsey Hollingsworth.

She leaves one son, Charles Hollingsworth, Cooter; two daughters, Leater McDaniel and Mrs. James Strong, both of Cooter; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.

Pallbearers were Charles Barger, Bruce McSwain, Marvin Childers, James "Buddy" Childers, Reggie Udouj and Gabby Bond.
