Mrs. Flora Ellen Bradfield, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Friday, March 21, 1997, at Doctors Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born October 24, 1912 in Cooter, Mo.
A member of the Church of Christ, Mrs. Bradfield enjoyed quilting and rearing her grandchildren.
On October 29, 1929 at Yarbro, Ark., she was united in marriage with James C. Bradfield.
Mrs. Bradfield leaves her husband, James C. Bradfield, of Poplar Bluff; Four daughters: Virginia Farris and Ellen Pennell, both of Poplar Bluff, Jerlene Hogland of Hollywood, Mo., and Margie Crisp of Clio, Mich.; Two sons: Floyd Bradfield of Mont Verde, Fla. and Harold Bradfield of Campbell, Mo.; One brother, Willie Whitehead, of Steele; A sister, Quanita Whitehead, of Steele; Twenty-nine grandchildren; Several great-grandchildren; and Several great-great-grandchildren;
Graveside services for Mrs. Bradfield were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, 1997, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo., with Mr. Ray Crawford officiating and Cotrell Funeral Service of Poplar Bluff in charge.
