Isaac Kitman (Kit) Northcutt, age 73 years, 10 months and 24 days died in Steele Saturday afer a lengthy illness. He was born in Hardin County, Tenn. and lived in this vicinity for the past 35 years.
Mr. Northcutt was a retired merchant and carpenter.
Funeral service was held at the Pentecostal Church of God in Steele Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. Roy Handley officiated with interment in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge.
Surviving are five sons, Marshall with the U.S. Navy in California, J.W. in Michigan, Lyndell Ray, U.S. Navy in Florida, Freddie U.S. Air Force and Charles Northcutt, Air Force, and Charles Northcutt, Jonesboro; three daughters, Mrs. Cordia Weaver of Poplar Bluff, Mrs. Wilburn Clark and Miss Sharon Northcutt, both of Steele; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four sisters.
