Graveside services for Margaret Rose Stephens, 57, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Miss Stephens died 3:30 p.m., Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the NHC HealthCare.
She was born February 8, 1955 at Sacramento, California the foster daughter of the late Bobby Charles (Bob) Stephens and Dorothy Freeman Stephens. She attended the West Plains R-7 Schools and graduated from the West Plains High School with the Class of 1974. Margaret was a good cook. She attended the West 160 Church of Christ and was baptized on March 27, 1991 by Evangelist Wayne Stewart.
She is survived by two aunts, Monna Farmer, Springfield, Missouri and Doris Thornton, Joplin, Missouri; and a number of cousins.
Miss Stephens is preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents, her aunts, Lola Newton, Flo Sanders, Farol Routh and Marylee Sephens, her uncles, Verl Freeman and Merl Freeman and many cousins.
She will lie in state from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at robertsondrago.com.
