Billy Jean McCormick, 58, of Pine Bluff, Ark. died Wednesday, September 15, at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
Born in Holland, he was the son of the late Cleveland Justice McCormick and Minnie White McCormick. He was raised and educated in Holland.
Mr. McCormick was retired after 15 years as a pipefitter for Industrial Heating and Plumbing Company.
He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 454. He served in the Air Force during World War II.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. McCormick leaves his wife, Mrs. Johnnie Northern McCormick; three daughters, Mrs. Karen Carter and Mrs. Marsha Ray, both of Pine Bluff, and Gwen McCormick of Camden; Five brothers, Forrest McCormick of Pacific, Mo., C.J. McCormick of Monette, Mo, Charles Stanley McCormick of Florissant, Mo., Bud McCormick of Montgomery, Ala. and Joe McCormick of Duluth, Ga.; Three sisters, Mrs. Bethel King of McAlester, Okla, Mrs. Pearl Lynn Hall of Metropolis, Ill. and Mrs. Cara Foster of Postville, Iowa; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 17, at Ralph Robinson & Son Mortuary by Fenter D. Northern. Burial was Friday at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
