Funeral services for Len Ogle Judd, 81, West Plains, Mo., will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, with Reverend Nolan Earls officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
He was born the son of the late Ogle Tharp Judd and Olive Marie Bay Judd on March 26, 1930, in Thomasville, Mo., and died Oct. 2, 2011, in West Plains, Mo.
He was united in marriage Oct. 16, 1951, in Salem, Ark., to Elsie Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Ferguson Judd, of the home, West Plains, Mo.; two children, Marvin Judd, wife, Elaine, West Plains, Mo., and Norvella Kennedy, Mtn. Home, Ark.; four sisters, June Ford, husband, David, Peace Valley, Mo., Joyce Gualandi, Sublett, Ill., Dolly Wadlow, husband, Jim, West Plains, Mo., and Carolyn Judd, West Plains, Mo.; three grandchildren, Amanda Shaw, husband, Tim, Campbell, Mo., Nikki Kennedy, Fayetteville, Ark., and Noressa Kennedy, Little Rock, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lela Gilbert; and two brothers, Lon Judd and Melvin Judd.
He was a supporter of Eddie Murdy Ministries and Glory Bound Full Gospel Ministries. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, wonderful brother, and friend to many and will be greatly missed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Promise Land Ministries, K38HE TV Channel 38, P.O. Box 498, West Plains, MO 65775.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Mo., under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

Funeral services for Elsie Jane Judd, 84, West Plains, Mo., will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late Martin M. Ferguson and Nova Stokes Ferguson on Feb. 6, 1930, in Howell County, Mo., and died July 21, 2014, in West Plains, Mo.
She was united in marriage Oct. 16, 1951, in Salem, Ark., to Len Ogle Judd, who preceded her in death Oct. 2, 2011.
She is survived by two children, Marvin Judd and wife, Elaine, West Plains, and Norvella Calhoun and husband, Darren, Mtn. Home, Ark.; one sister, Lenora Deidiker, West Plains; three grandchildren, Amanda Shaw and husband, Tim, Campbell, Mo., Nikki Zhang and husband, Lance, Hot Springs, Ark., and Noressa Kennedy, Haskell, Ark.; one great-granddaughter, Samantha Shaw, Campbell, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one infant sister.
She loved to sew and quilt. She was known for her musical talents. Her family loved to hear her play piano at church. She taught herself to play numerous instruments. Her favorites were guitar, piano and dobro. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation and can be left at the funeral home.
Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Mo., under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
