Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 28, 1967 for Buster Murphy, 74, of Holland, at German Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James F. McCrary officiated.
Mr. Murphy was born in 1893 in Hardin County, Tenn., and died February 27, 1967. Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were William Barger, O.D. Bond, George Wilson, J.W. Poole, Alvin Hawkins and Mason Laster.
He leaves two sons, Glen E. Murphy, Florence, Ala., and R.B. Murphy, Steele; two daughters, Mrs. C.W. Stevenson, Florence; and Mrs. Maxine Palmer, Pennsylvania; one brother, Delma Murphy, California; one sister, Isa Welbank, Florence; ten grandchildren and one great-grandson.
