Orville E. "Pete" Kelley, 77, Kansas City, Mo., passed away Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Research Medical Center. Pete was born March 5, 1929, in Pleasant Hope, Mo., and lived most of his life in the Kansas City area.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Kelley of the home two sons, Kevin Kelley, Independence, Mo., and Pete Kelley, Jr., Jefferson City, Mo. two daughters, Judith Darlene Atkinson, Butler, MO., and Mary Boultinghouse, Danville, Ark. two sisters, Helen Smith and Wilma Bodenhammer, both of Springfield, Mo. 17 grandchildren 24 greatgrandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, May 10, at the Park Lawn Chapel, Kansas City, Mo. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, Mo., with burial in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Greene County, Mo.
The family suggests contributions to the Kidney Foundation.
