Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Tyler Baptist Church for Mrs. Nellie S. Hopper, 74. The Rev. J.L. Ford of Nashville, Tenn. and Rev. Frank Payne conducted the service and burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with H.S. Smith Funeral Home service.
Mrs. Hopper was born in Dickson, Tenn. September 18, 1892 and died June 21 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Rauker in Poplar Bluff.
In 1910, at Tyler, she was married to Ernest Pullen, who preceded her in death on October 16, 1929. In 1932, also at Tyler, she was married to Jesse Coleman Hopper, who died December 25, 1952. After his death she moved to California to make her home.
She leaves her daughter, Mrs. Rauker; a son, Gerald Pullen of Pawpaw, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Wilson of Glendale, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; also, three step-sons, Raymond, Gray and Herman Hopper.
