Mr. Hillary Lonnie Watkins, 84, of Hayti, Mo., died Saturday, March 16, 1996, in Hayti.
Born October 15, 1911 in Moscow, Tenn., he was a son of the late Joe and Willie Gray Watkins.
He was married to the former Marie Bagwell, who preceded him in death on May 3, 1969.
Mr. Watkins leaves two sons, Bobby Watkins of O'Fallon, Mo. and Hillary Lonnie Watkins Jr. of Hayti; Four daughters: Mildred Willene Crumley of Naylor, Mo., and Delores Decker, Amy Watkins and Christina Watkins, all of Hayti; Thirteen grandchildren; and Eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 1996, in the Jimmy Osburn Chapel at Hayti, with Rev. Paul Quinn officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo., with arrangements by Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home of Hayti.
Pallbearers were Jim Madison, Danny Stevens, Dale Carpenter, J.W. Russom, Henry Wooten and Arvil Wooten.
