Janice Lee Brooks-Vermillion, age 60, of Marshfield, MO, went to be with her Savior on Monday, October 28, 2013 in her home surrounded by her loving family . She was born December 19, 1952, in Springfield, MO, to James and Betty (Freeman) Brooks. She was a member of Higher Vision Church in Rogersville, MO. Janice liked garage selling, painting, fishing, and decorating her house for Christmas, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her greatest passion was sharing her faith and her love of Jesus to everyone she knew.
She was preceded in death by her father, James R. Brooks. She is survived by her husband of seven years, Richard Vermillion; three children, Michael Bell and wife Amy, Mark Bell and wife Jessica, and Angela Mitchell and husband David; seven grandchildren, Dalena, Nicole, Christopher, Taylor, Anna, Ashton, and Lyla; one great-grandchild, Trebor; her mother, Betty Ann Brooks; two brothers, Jerry Brooks and James Brooks; four sisters; Sandy Vise, Vicki Kelchner, Kathy McBride, and Lori Brooks; and a host of family and friends.
