Funeral services for Dorothy Gargus of Braggadocio were conducted Tuesday afternoon, December 12, 1972 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the German-Aumon Funeral Home in Steele with the Rev. Joe Smith officiating.
Mrs. Gargus died Sunday, December 10 in the Ellis Fischel State Cancer Hospital in Columbia, Mo., at the age of 32. She was born in Tennessee January 21, 1940.
She leaves her widower, Junior Gargus; five children: Carolyn Sue, Betty June, Thomas Franklin, Jerry Edward and Brenda Lee, all of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hogan of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; two sisters, Peggy Brady of Lexington, and Catherine Mason of Three Rivers, Mich.; five brothers: Robert Hogan, Floyd Hogan, John Hogan, Jim Hogan, and Jerry Hogan, all of Lawrenceburg.
Interment was in the Mount Zion Cemetery with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
