Wallace Wilford Flood died February 8, 1968, at the Stroud Rest Home in Qulin, Mo.
A long time resident of the Steele area, Mr. Flood was 78 years old.
Funeral service was held Saturday, February 10, at the Assembly of God Church, 201 North Second Street in Steele. The Rev. Roy Hamlett, assisted by the Rev. Ira Wilkins, officiated.
Mr. Flood leaves his wife, Mrs. Jennie Flood; three daughters, Mrs. Lillian King, Mrs. Helen Culp, and Mrs. Burmon Morton, all of Steele; two sons, Clell Flood and Wallace P. Flood of Steele.
He also leaves a half-sister, Mrs. Willie B. Pfeffer and a half-brother, J.C. Carroll, both of Zellwood, Fla., and fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery with the German Funeral Home, Inc., in charge of arrangements.
